Susan M. Pitz

Susan M. Pitz is a shareholder with Nutile Pitz and Associates. Ms. Pitz concentrates her practice in the areas of transactional business law, healthcare law, real estate matters, and intellectual property. Ms. Pitz has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and large and small business start-ups including equity financing, shareholder and founder agreements, and employment law counseling. She is also experienced in the structuring of physician/provider groups, management services organizations and ancillary health care facilities. Ms. Pitz’s healthcare law practice also focuses on HIPAA regulatory compliance, medical staff credentialing, and hospital/medical staff relations. She is a frequent lecturer on numerous healthcare and business-related issues to members of both the medical and legal community. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Pitz spent ten years in the sports industry, primarily in business, media relations, and marketing.

Ms. Pitz graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Public Relations. She later received a Master of Business Administration from the University of the Pacific. She received her Juris Doctorate from William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas and upon graduation joined the law firm of Nutile Law & Associates as an associate attorney. Ms. Pitz became a shareholder with Nutile Pitz & Associates in January 2008.

Ms. Pitz is a member of the State of Nevada Bar Association (Insurance and Health Law, Intellectual Property and Business Law sections) and the State of California Bar Association. She is also a member of the American Bar Association (Business and Health Law sections), the Clark County Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association and the Health Care Compliance Association. Ms. Pitz is currently an adjunct Assistant Professor of Medical Jurisprudence at Touro University Nevada, College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Ms. Pitz is a resident of Henderson, Nevada.
